Project Baseline artificial reef “Saskatchewan: DDE-262 Destroyer” is intended to monitor and document changes in a Vancouver Island marine preserve. As this is one of the most accessible artificial reefs it well situated to allow for ongoing monitoring of marine life health by setting up a series of monitoring stations to allow different dive teams an easy process designed to duplicate the position of the original team while taking pictures, temperature readings and water visibility observation. The project will track the changes in marine life health from season to season and year to year which will allow others to use the data and observation to determine ongoing health of the marine preserve
